Threading lines

Our baby turned 6 months last week. She was 2.53 kg at birth. Around 7 months into her uterine life, she decided I will sit back a bit and grow. Saying no to food started way before she came out of her momma’s womb.

Her spells of breastfeeding lasted hardly seconds the first time. Food to taste suffices her.

She threads the 3rd centile in her own fancy pace. The milestones are on track if not advancing at a faster pace. But the struggle in feeding her is real now.

Weaning has been a painful journey so far. As she mentally grows, her distaste for food grows proportionately to our stress meter. Is she eating enough? Is she growing enough?

Doting parents that we are, we will persevere.
