Manchester Derby

It is becoming two weeks now since my colleague decided to just stop coming to work. As a result I have been burdened with extra work, which is something I have not had for quite some time, especially in 2020 with the pandemic and restricted work hours.

The winter is well and through here now with a jacket mandatory at all times.

Due to road tar works cutting of the exit from Road 80 to 5th Ring Road, I had to detour to Kuwait City to get to Salmiya yesterday evening. As a result, I just about reached 3 minutes into the Manchester Derby

Saddling a hot water bag onto my sore back, which is still recovering from the back strain, I glued onto a cagey, defensive derby. Nothing spiteful. Predominantly coherent and nothing fiesty. The mood was reflective of the times we play football. Both teams will be happy to just get a point and walk away from it. Some really good defending kept United in it, but City is no longer the clinical team of yester, else this game would have been long done and dusted.
